If you wish to book an appointment the same day, the telephone lines to the surgery open at 8.00 a.m. in the morning when the appointments are released. The phone lines are closed for lunch at 12.00 noon and reopen at 1.30 pm.

We will do our best to enable you to see the doctor of your choice at a time that sits you but this is not always possible.

We aim to see urgent cases on the day wherever possible. If you condition is not urgent you can expect to see a GP within two working days, though you may have to wait longer if you want to see a particular doctor. Nurses based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions and will offer telephone advice where appropriate.

Say immediately if your call is an emergency.

Let us know if more than one family member needs to be seen as individual appointment times will need to be given.

Chaperones and Privacy

Tell us if would like someone to accompany you during an examination or a private room to discuss matters.

To maintain our code of confidentiality, if an appointment is required for emergency contraception please indicate by asking the receptionist for a 'RED' appointment.
