Appointments

We have an appointment system called Total Triage. Please click on the above 'Contact Us Online' icon and fill out a Medical request to book an appointment with a doctor or an advanced nurse practitioner. The request will be triaged by a doctor the same day, and patients will receive a response the same day.

This Accurx request form is for both Same Day and Routine appointments, and medical queries. Medical requests can be submitted from 7am to 10.30am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; and 7am to 10am on Thursday.

If patients are unable to complete the medical request on our website, they can phone the surgery between 8am to 10.30am, (8am to 10am on Thursdays), and one of our receptionists can complete the form on their behalf.

  • Tel. 0114 2697505 or 0114 2889777

These request times could sometimes vary.

Other appointments:
Appointments with a nurse or one of our healthcare assistants for blood tests, smears, ear irrigation etc. are booked by telephoning the surgery.

The 'Contact Us Online' icon can also be used for admin queries, such as prescription requests, Fit (sick) notes, or anything else admin related. These Accurx admin requests can be submitted all day 7 days a week. Please complete an Admin request.

On a Thursday the phone lines to the Practice are closed in the afternoon from 1pm (but the Practice is still open). After this time on a Thursday calls will be connected to Sheffield GP Collaborative, up to 6.30pm.

Non-urgent advice: Home visits

Please only ask for a home visit if you are too ill to attend the surgery. Try to telephone before 10am on 0114 2697505 or 0114 2889777. Please remember however that most consultations are far better undertaken in the surgery with the benefit of the equipment on site.

When telephoning, explain the problem clearly to the receptionist. A doctor from the practice will aim to visit you within four hours, after the end of morning surgery. You may have to wait if the doctor is very busy and/or attending a more urgent call. We are unable to offer a choice of doctor for home visits. The doctor may telephone you to advise on the best course of action in relation to your illness. Advice only may be needed.

Non-urgent advice: If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:
