Appointments

We have an appointment system called Total Triage. To book an appointment with a doctor or an advanced nurse practitioner, please click on the 'Contact Us Online' icon above. Fill out a Health Problem request. A doctor will triage the request the same day, and you will get a response that day.

This Accurx request form is for both Same Day and Routine appointments, as well as medical queries. You can submit health problem requests from 7am to 10.30am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; and 7am to 10am on Thursday.

If you are unable to complete the health problem request online, call the surgery between 8am to 10.30am (8am to 10am on Thursdays). One of our receptionists can complete the form on your behalf.

  • Tel. 0114 2697505 or 0114 2889777

Please note that these request times may vary.

Other appointments:
To book appointments with a nurse or healthcare assistant for blood tests, smears, ear irrigation etc., please call the surgery.

You can also use the 'Contact Us Online' icon for admin queries, like prescription requests and Fit (sick) notes. You can submit these Accurx admin requests any time, seven days a week. Please complete an Admin request.

On Thursdays, phone lines to the Practice close at 1pm, but the Practice remains open. After this time, calls will connect to the Out of Hours doctors until 6.30pm.

Sheffield Out of Hours Hubs

Non-urgent advice: Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • face to face at the surgery
  • by phone
  • on a video call
  • online / text link

Non-urgent advice: Cancelling or changing an appointment

You can cancel your appointment in various ways:

  • use your NHS App or your SystmOnline account

  • phone us Monday to Friday from 8am Tel. 0114 2697505 or 0114 2889777

Non-urgent advice: Home visits

Only ask for a home visit if you are too ill to get to the surgery. Please try to call before 10am on 0114 2697505 or 0114 2889777. Remember, most consultations work better in the surgery, where we have more equipment on site.

When you call, explain your problem clearly to the receptionist. A clinican will try to visit you within four hours after morning surgery. You may need to wait if the clinician is busy or handling a more urgent case. We cannot offer a choice of doctor for home visits. The doctor might call you to recomend the best steps for your illness. Sometimes, you may only need advice.

Non-urgent advice: If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if you need a chaperone
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs

If you need medical help when we are closed, use NHS 111 online or telephone 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Telephone 111 if you need help for a child under 5 years old.
