The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator for health and adult social care in England.

The CQC monitors, inspects and regulates services to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. They publish their findings, including performance ratings, to help people choose care.

We have successfully registered with the CQC and we are an approved provider of services. Dr Katharine Otten is our CQC registered manager.

During a CQC inspection, inspectors:

  • ask people about their experiences of receiving care
  • talk to care staff
  • check that the right systems and processes are in place
  • look for evidence that care isn't meeting national standards
