The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.
The CQC monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet standards of quality and safety and publish what it finds, including performance ratings to help people choose care.
We have been successful in our application for registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and have been approved as a regulated provider of services. Our CQC registered manager in the Practice is Dr Katharine Otten.
During an inspection by the CQC, the inspectors:
- ask people about their experiences of receiving care
- talk to care staff
- check that the right systems and processes are in place
- look for evidence that care isn't meeting national standards
